Busch+Müller SECULA PERMANENT Battery Rear Light for Seatstays

The Busch+Müller SECULA PERMANENT battery rear light, stay-mounted version, is useful when your bike has no dynamo or when you want a rear light independent of its electrical system. It mounts on the stays or seatpost and runs on two AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries. A red LED provides the rear light, while prisms create the LineTec ring of light.

The standlight is automatic, powered by a capacitor, and cannot be switched off: it stays on even when stationary. The rear light is StVZO-approved for bicycles under §67 StVZO. Before buying, check that the mounting type suits your bike, as this version is designed for stays and seatposts.

Founded in 1925 in Meinerzhagen by August Busch and Willy Müller, Busch+Müller is still based in the German town. It makes headlights, rear lights and mirrors for bicycles and e-bikes, accompanying cyclists on their everyday journeys. The company has remained family-run for three generations.
