The Novatec XDR 12-speed freehub body, with a Novatec B freehub mechanism, is for riders fitting cassettes to the rear hub who want an aluminium freehub body for road and MTB use. It accepts XDR and XD sprockets: 12-speed cassettes fit directly, with 4 engagement pawls.
Check your cassette type and whether you need the 1.8 mm spacer, included only with the XDR version. With the 1.8 mm spacer, the body works with MTB 11- and 12-speed cassettes; without it, 12-speed cassettes fit directly.
