The Shimano 9/10-speed chainring is available with 38, 46 and 52 teeth. The pitch circle diameter (Ø) is 110 mm for the 38- and 52-tooth versions and 130 mm for the 46-tooth version, so check your crankset's Ø before buying. Choose the number of teeth based on the gear ratio you want: fewer teeth for easier climbing, more teeth for a higher gear.
