Schwalbe Xynotal Folding Tyre

Schwalbe Xynotal folding tyre in size 27,5 x 2,40 (60-584), designed for downhill mountain biking. The supplier specifies it for hard and slightly uneven terrain, with SuperSoft compound, a 6/660 TPI casing and a folding bead. It is also suitable for use on e-bikes up to 25 km/h (E25).

Start with the size when choosing: 27,5 x 2,40 indicates a 27,5-inch wheel, while 60-584 is the size to compare with the rim. It is tubeless ready, meaning it is ready for fitting without an inner tube. The colour is black, and it is advisable to check frame clearance before purchasing.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
