Schwalbe Terra Trail Tyre

The Schwalbe Terra Trail 700x40 tyre is a folding tyre designed for gravel and cyclocross, with tubeless compatibility and ETRTO size 40-622. The tread and sidewalls have puncture protection, useful on unpaved tracks where the risk of cuts and punctures is higher. The model is also designed for e-bikes.

To choose the size, check the ETRTO 40-622 marking on the sidewall of your current tyre: this version corresponds to 700 x 40 / 28 x 1,50 inches. The stated pressure is 72 PSI. The folding bead makes it convenient to carry a spare in a bag without taking up much space.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
