Schwalbe Gator Hardshell Black Edition Folding Tyre

The Schwalbe Gator Hardshell Black Edition folding tyre is designed for road riders looking for reinforced puncture protection. The three-layer casing includes a PolyX Breaker under the tread and shoulders, while the sidewalls are reinforced with DuraSkin fabric. The folding bead makes the tyre convenient to carry in a bag as a spare.

The available sizes are 700x23, 700x25, 700x28 and 700x32. To choose, start with your bike's rim and frame: 23 is the narrowest and offers less air volume, while 32 is the widest. For size 700x25, the stated pressure is 123 PSI. Always check that the size fits within the frame and brakes.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
