Continental Xynotal Folding Tyre

Continental Xynotal folding tyre in size 27,5 x 2,40 (60-584), designed for downhill mountain biking. The supplier specifies it for hard and slightly uneven terrain, with a SuperSoft compound, 6/660 TPI casing and folding bead. It is also suitable for use on e-bikes up to 25 km/h (E25).

Start with the size when choosing: 27,5 x 2,40 indicates a 27,5-inch wheel, while 60-584 is the size to compare with the rim. It is tubeless ready, so it can be fitted without an inner tube. The colour is black, and it is worth checking frame clearance before buying.

Founded in Hanover in 1871, Continental is still based in the German city today. For cyclists, it makes tires and inner tubes for road, gravel, mountain biking and urban riding. Its connection with bicycles goes back to its early days: in 1892, it became the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires.
