Continental Contact Plus City Wire Bead Tyre

The Continental Contact Plus City wire bead tyre is designed for city and touring bikes and has ECE-R75 approval for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h. It features SafetyPlus Breaker protection and is not tubeless. The specified terrain is all-round and road, making it suitable for road and mixed routes.

Two sizes are available: 42-622 (700x40) and 55-559 (26x2,2). Choose according to your rim's ETRTO size, as the width differs between the two and should be checked before ordering. The specified pressure is 3.0 - 4.0 bar and the colour is Black/Reflex.

Founded in Hanover in 1871, Continental is still based in the German city today. For cyclists, it makes tires and inner tubes for road, gravel, mountain biking and urban riding. Its connection with bicycles goes back to its early days: in 1892, it became the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires.
