We called the first aerodynamic shirt project

When Castelli developed the first aerodynamic shirt for road cycling in the now distant 2006, everyone thought it was crazy. At that time, aerodynamics was used only in chronometer tests. Performant clothing meant management management and you could win the Tour de France with a large shirt that was little more than a polyester t-shirt. Even our aerodynamic experts expected limited advantages, for this reason we called the split second shirt (fraction of a second). Exactly then as now, we already thought that it was worth chasing even a small advantage. In the end, the benefits were substantial and we have completely revolutionized the look of group professionals.

Now we have reached the sixth version of our aerodynamic shirt. Each generation has become more aerodynamic and with a better fit. The Aero Race 6.0 benefits enormously with engineering studies through computer simulations of air flows in aerodynamic position, influencing the choice of the tissue and the positioning of the seams. He also benefits from the feedback from our runners, considering that we worked hard to make the shirt comfortable during their long hours of training and racing in any possible atmospheric condition.

The 6.0 is the most aerodynamic and more comfortable version ever made. But we are already working on version 6.1 ...
