Built for trail riding or the next enduro race, the Mallet Trail BOA® offers all-day comfort combined with top-level race performance. The lightweight yet durable ripstop upper features a reinforced TPU toe cap for added protection and a flexible collar around the ankle to keep debris out of the shoe. Additionally, the fiber-reinforced shank and aggressive lug pattern on the sole ensure pedaling efficiency and versatility on any terrain. Crankbrothers' innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes pre-installed with Match Shim and Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, so you can start riding with Crankbrothers pedals right away.

The BOA® Fit System Li2 with two-way micro-adjustment dial ensures a precise fit and a quick-adjust velcro strap for heel hold and stability. The ripstop upper guarantees long-lasting durability without added weight, while the reinforced TPU toe cap offers extra protection.

The cleat box with ramp facilitates pedal entry and mud shedding. The elongated 35 mm cleat guide allows for a rearward position for greater control and stability on descents. The cleat depth has been carefully selected to ensure optimal contact between shoe and pedal.

The medium-friction MC1 rubber compound ensures easy pedal entry and release and long durability.

Match OutsoleMatch Outsole
The trail profile has been developed to provide balanced traction on and off the bike, excellent walking ability, and an optimized pedal surface. The fiber-reinforced nylon stiff shank efficiently transfers power, while the low-rebound EVA midsole dampens vibrations.
