Vega Carbon is the latest high-end road racing shoe, designed from the sole up to prioritize the performance of lead group riders and professionals. Equipped with a highly stiff integrated carbon sole, an innovative and ultra-breathable upper, a revised shape, and a more ergonomic fit, Vega meets every requirement in terms of lightness, high performance, and efficient power transfer and is designed to specifically fit modern road bike geometries, rider positions, and riding styles.

A new and natural shape
In recent years, bike geometry and body position have changed significantly. For this reason, the contact points between cyclists and their bikes have had to evolve accordingly. Vega introduces a completely new shape, with a straighter axis and a reduced drop to offer a more natural feel during pedaling. Vega’s toe box is wider and allows the foot to fully extend, ensuring an ergonomic fit and improving comfort during high-intensity rides, whether stage races or weekly training sessions.

Sole inside
Vega features a full carbon integrated sole that offers greater stiffness and reduces stack height. Thanks to this advanced construction technique, the sole is located inside the shoe and hidden by the upper, allowing us to reduce the stack height in the cleat area and provide full ergonomic medial support to the foot. The anatomical shape and reduced drop prioritize foot stability and support, resulting in more efficient power transfer.

Fit, fabrics, and features
Vega’s upper is characterized by strategic material mapping, using different materials in different areas depending on the specific requirements: breathable where greater ventilation is needed, supportive where comfort is the top priority. To reduce breathability and weight, Fizik has paired Aeroweave fabric with a thin translucent mesh to create an even lighter shoe that does not lose its original toughness. Additionally, a foot-hugging liner made of perforated Airprene material ensures greater comfort and a pressure-free fit, from race days to big mountain rides.

Comfort adjustment
The instep and midfoot are adjustable separately for a customized fit thanks to the Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit system. Two separate BOA® dials, connected to panels that wrap around the medial side of the foot, allow riders to precisely adjust the shoe’s fit according to their foot shape, ensuring lasting support.
