Fizik Road Infinito Knit Carbon 2 Shoes

The latest version of the Infinito R1 cycling shoe features a knit structure that ensures excellent ventilation and is ultralight, while maintaining all Fizik technologies.

A high-performance road cycling shoe designed with a new advanced knit upper for increased breathability. The latest version of the Infinito Knit features a refined knit construction that seamlessly integrates excellent ventilation throughout the upper and is thinner than ever thanks to weight reduction, while offering all the advanced features tested by professional cycling athletes. An incredibly breathable mesh base combines with targeted areas of thermowelded TPU yarn to support the foot where the athlete needs it most. This ensures effective power transfer to the pedals with the same support and pedaling efficiency as a conventional cycling shoe.

VOLUME CONTROL SYSTEM
The Volume Control System allows differentiated adjustment of the fit in the instep and forefoot areas, whose shape and volume can vary greatly from cyclist to cyclist. Thanks to the latest Li2 BOA® Fit System platform, with a smaller dial diameter and a lower, more aerodynamic profile, cyclists can customize the fit according to the individual shape of the foot to achieve maximum performance without compromising comfort.

SUPPORT AND COMFORT
A special part of the shoe upper wraps the arch and can be precisely adjusted for a perfect fit and better plantar fascia support thanks to the latest Li2 BOA® platform. The volume of the forefoot area can be controlled via the Infinito, a feature of the fit configuration. The Infinito equalizes tension and eliminates pressure points through the use of BOA® textile laces. This lacing system acts on a wider area of the shoe upper, pulling the eyelets inward evenly from all directions to ensure a supportive and comfortable fit.

R2 CARBON SOLE
The updated Infinito also features a completely new sole with an engineered carbon fiber construction that saves weight and increases stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, this sole is the stiffest in the Fizik range. A large ventilation intake and deep internal channels provide a cooling airflow that helps regulate temperature. The cleat positioning is slightly set back compared to conventional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, which is especially suitable for very aggressive aero forward positions.
