Vent Valve
Although Rock Shox has created the most robust seatpost on the market, everyone knows that sometimes the inevitable happens. Over time, air and oil can mix, creating an unpleasant noise that will require servicing your seatpost. The new Vent Valve technology allows you to perform this simple maintenance in a few steps without disassembling the seatpost. Press the valve, compress the seatpost, then release. Air will be expelled through the pneumatic chamber while the oil remains in place, restoring reliable and safe operation.
