Technology

Bleeding Edge
With this new caliper fluid circuit, the bleed port has been moved to the bottom of the caliper and all four piston chambers can communicate. This way, during bleeding, the fluid naturally fills the caliper, making bleeding easier and more consistent.

DirectLink
SRAM's DirectLink lever design produces a solid and positive feel the moment you squeeze the lever to engage the brake. It offers a no-nonsense solution for precise control.

Lever Pivot Bearings
Precision sealed bearings on the lever pivot improve the smoothness and crispness of lever actuation and the one-finger light feel.

Timing Port Closure
The timing port of a hydraulic brake is the connection between the reservoir and the lever cylinder bore. When the lever is pressed, a cup seal passes through this area and closes the port, pressurizing the system. SRAM's timing port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish that produces reliable and consistent braking power.

Expandable Bladder
SRAM's new brake lever design includes a reshaped bladder that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder has a specific shape to evacuate air from the lever and push fluid exactly where needed. The result is better backpressure relief, producing reliable braking power and consistency.
