Sram Level Ultimate Carbon Disc Brake
Couldn't load pickup availability
The power-to-weight ratio is the first, among many other, strong points of this brake. Featherweight: done. Mounting elements: reduced to the essentials!
In an attempt to combine maximum braking power with ultra-light construction, Sram has created a new champion: the next-generation Level. With refined levers and calipers and an advanced heat management system, Level offers exhilarating power with excellent modulation.
Race tested
Some believe in luck, but Sram believes in engineering. Their unbeatable success in championships is not due to star alignment ā itās smart design in perfect balance.
Two-piston performance
The power of two pistons and sealed bearings transfer even the lightest finger touch to the caliper with extreme efficiency. Traction and control, exactly when needed.
Stiffer caliper, more braking power
With a rigid two-piece caliper and a wide opening for pads with more aggressive organic compound, Level is a brake ready for any challenge.
Smoother piston actuation
Sram examined every brake on the market, then built a better one. Their calipers move the pads evenly, ensuring longevity and control throughout the brakeās life.
Hidden reach adjustment
A fast bike is a light bike, brakes included. To save grams and protect the āinsides,ā Sram hid the reach adjustment. Itās still a simple and quick adjustment but requires a tool.

Technologies
Bleeding Edge
The Bleeding Edge technology makes brake bleeding easy and fast; the master cylinder design and new bleed port facilitate DOT fluid flow, while a dedicated bleed adapter (not included) seals the system minimizing accidental fluid loss and preventing air from entering the brake system.
DirectLinkā¢
The DirectLink design of Sram brake levers gives every rider the immediate feel of pad contact on the rotor, ensuring maximum control of braking force in any situation.
DOT 5.1ā¢
Heat is the enemy of any braking system, which is why innovations in heat management translate into new riding sensations. Sram has found that DOT 5.1 fluid offers a boiling point three times higher than classic DOT 4 and helps maintain consistent brake performance without the typical fade caused by overheating of oil and pads.
Expandable Bladder
The design of the new Sram brake levers includes a fully redesigned flexible internal reservoir that helps regulate and reduce performance drop caused by air bubbles inside the system. The special shape of the reservoir moves air away from the lever and pushes brake fluid exactly where needed, resulting in smooth lever movement on release and reliable, consistent performance.
Heat Shield
The stainless steel "Heat Shield" drastically reduces heat transfer between pads and the braking system, keeping system temperature up to 20° lower than a traditional brake, even during the most demanding descents.
MatchMaker X (MMX)
The MatchMaker X clamp is more than just a clamp; each can hold up to three controls: the XLoc remote, the trigger shifter, or the Reverb 1x remote, along with Sram brake levers. This saves the weight of individual clamps and results in a tidy handlebar with a clean look.
PiggyBack Master Cylinder
The master cylinder structure in the latest Sram models is designed to ensure optimal performance and easy use.
The PiggyBack master cylinder offers a simple and secure method of brake fluid management and allows mounting the same lever on either the right or left side to meet every riderās needs without reversing brake cables.
Timing Port Closure
A "Timing Port" is the connection area between the reservoir and the master cylinder; the Timing Port Closure technology isolates and pressurizes the system once pressure is applied to the lever, enabling incredible braking power and exceptional reliability.
Lever configuration
- Front brake: Ambidextrous lever (cable length: 950 mm).
- Rear brake: Ambidextrous lever (cable length: 1800 mm).
