Hope Tech 4 V4 Disc Brake - Right Lever

The new Tech 4 lever has changed a lot, not only in terms of appearance. Hope has also made a big step forward in technical properties. The expansion chamber has been enlarged and redesigned. Thanks to the new design, the Tech 4 brake lever can transmit 30% more braking power. For an especially light lever feel, the spring speed has been reduced and a guide is used for the brake piston. The ease of movement is supported by an industrial ball bearing at the pivot point. The brake lever has become longer for better modulation and greater control. As before, the lever width and pressure point can be adjusted without tools. The two-piece clamp for handlebar mounting simplifies installation, as nothing needs to be removed from the handlebar for mounting.

The V4 caliper is very stiff and has large cooling fins. High braking performance, excellent modulation, and thermal sizing reliably stop even the heaviest riders on the toughest terrain.
The calipers, as usual, are milled from T6 2014 aluminum and are the result of development work with COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis). This allows weight reduction, improved aesthetics, and creates the ideal partner for the tech lever. The sealed bleed nipples allow easier maintenance, and the extended fluid outlet simplifies the line routing. The brake pads can be easily removed upwards, making wheel removal unnecessary during replacement. The unique strength of this huge brake caliper is the large internal width, which allows the use of ventilated brake rotors!
