Hope Tech 4 E4 Disc Brake - Braided Steel - Left Lever

The Hope Tech 4 E4 disc brake once again surpasses the performance of its popular predecessor. The 4-piston brake achieves this with improved ergonomics, greater braking power, and minimized wear. The brake ratio has been fine-tuned based on real riding data to achieve the best efficiency and a typically precise braking feel. The linear relationship between lever force and brake pressure allows easy and intuitive control of braking performance.

The shape of the Enduro brake lever has been redesigned for better ergonomics and optimized power transmission. The brake fluid reservoir volume has been increased thanks to smart design work, while the overall height has been reduced at the same time, making the entire lever appear more streamlined. The stable and practical hinged clamp reduces weight and ensures a secure grip. Among other things, this contributes to a more universal integration of the gear lever, which also ensures better cockpit ergonomics.

The lever position and brake bite point can be easily, precisely, and quickly adjusted to individual needs without tools.



The four-piston brake caliper offers up to 30% more braking power compared to the previous model. High-quality pistons and its low-friction bearing ensure smooth operation with low wear. A phenolic insulating layer protects the components from heat during intense use, ensuring maximum functional reliability.

The brake caliper is mounted Post Mount, and fluid supply is provided by a high-quality braided steel hose. This has a total length of 1700mm and can be shortened to fit your bike. This allows it to be used as a rear or front brake.
