Cinturato™ Gravel H is the tire specifically designed for Gravel use, developed for compact terrains, harder surfaces, and faster grounds. The tread features low and closely spaced knobs and a high ability to conform to the terrain, providing a large contact area and therefore excellent riding feel. The special SpeedGrip Compound adds mechanical resistance and chemical grip characteristics without reducing rolling efficiency. Cinturato™ Gravel H is a high-performance tubeless-ready tire with unique grip features in all conditions, both dry and wet, as well as a high level of puncture protection. This model is the ideal choice for those who use their gravel bike on not too demanding routes, mainly flat and fast. Cinturato Gravel H is compatible with hookless rims respecting the ETRTO inflation limit of 5bar/72.5psi t.

Technologies

SpeedGRIP compound

Specific formulation for Gravel, born from Pirelli's experience in the rally world where rolling efficiency on asphalt and grip on dirt are crucial. This compound uses the same polymer matrix as the MTB SmartGrip Compound but improves rolling efficiency. Gravel use requires higher speed and on/off-road versatility, so Pirelli technicians have oriented the compound properties towards better energy efficiency, allowing excellent performance on dirt terrains and high grip both dry and wet. With rolling efficiency values on any surface similar to those recorded by purely road tires.

TechWALL Gravel

With a combination of the know-how developed for reinforced road structures and the experience gained in MTB, Pirelli technicians have created a Gravel construction that relies both on the mechanical resistance of the compound itself and on a high cut-resistance layer that protects the casing from bead to bead. While road punctures mainly occur due to penetration of sharp objects, off-road punctures more frequently happen from stones or debris on the tire sidewall. For this reason, the textile material used for the TechWALL construction is particularly cut-resistant to ensure better overall structure durability. The 120tpi tubeless-ready casing guarantees optimal riding feel without the risk of forced stops thanks to the use of specific anti-cut fabrics.
