This is a material added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tires, extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions. This layer is made with a dense and super-light weave, highly flexible and does not affect the tire’s performance.

TR- Tubeless Ready

Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tires certified UST feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tires. This technology offers better puncture resistance, retains air better, and strengthens the tire at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. By adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound, a lighter, stronger, and more airtight casing was achieved.
