Ceramic Speed T47 Shimano Bottom Bracket

T47/86 Bottom Bracket for Shimano

T47 is a new bottom bracket shell design that uses the oversized PF30 and EVO386 interface but with the advantage and peace of mind of a threaded interface. This bottom bracket allows the installation of Shimano and other cranksets with a 24 mm diameter thru-axle in a T47 shell.

It is compatible with 86 mm wide frames and also compatible with TREK T47 frames that are 85.5 mm wide.

There are 2 versions: Standard and Coated Bearings. The CeramicSpeed bearings are installed in cups and connected through the shell. Both have super round CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. The CeramicSpeed coated bearings have an additional feature: a 3-micron thick metal layer on the races. This addition makes the races harder and smoother, reducing friction and increasing durability.
