The GIRO Switchblade Mips is an incredibly versatile helmet with a removable chin guard. Suitable for the most demanding disciplines, especially DH competitions. It has obtained all necessary safety certifications, including ASTM-1952-DH, with or without the chin guard. The In-Mold helmet structure (ABS outer shell / EPS liner) is extremely sturdy, especially thanks to the series of internal anchors molded directly into the EPS foam. Safety is enhanced by Mips technology, which greatly reduces impact in case of a fall and distributes the shock wave across the entire surface. The Roc Loc Air DH Fit adjustment system ensures a perfect fit and excellent stability.
Comfort is guaranteed by 20 ventilation tunnels, located in the main part of the helmet and under the chin, ensuring perfect airflow throughout the effort. The Switchblade features hydrophilic foams that absorb up to ten times their weight in water, for perfect sweat absorption. The X-Static coating is antimicrobial.
This helmet allows you to rest the goggles on the P.O.V. Plus visor and attach the camera to the replacement visor
