This achievement was made possible thanks to innovative manufacturing techniques, such as the PP Mandrel process, which ensures high-precision shaping of internal surfaces and transition areas.

The inside of the frame is perfectly clean, without voids or wrinkles, thanks to optimized layering that eliminates any excess resin, keeping only what is essential for stiffness and strength. With a thickness of just 0.6 mm in some areas, the frame achieves a perfect balance between lightness and durability.

Optimized aerodynamics and speed

The new Addict RC was designed to be 12 watts faster, significantly improving aerodynamic performance. This is also reflected in the new Syncros IC-R100-SL cockpit, an integrated handlebar with a slight flare on the drops for better brake lever positioning and superior control.

Thanks to a new mounting design and optimized carbon layup, the cockpit is also 40 g lighter than the previous model, maintaining strength and stiffness. Additionally, the Syncros mounts for computers and accessories have been redesigned, reducing weight by up to 70% compared to standard mounts.

Uncompromising comfort

The Scott Addict RC is not only a fast and lightweight racing bike but also offers superior comfort. Thanks to the new SP-R100-SL seatpost design, more compatible with the fibers, comfort has improved by 36%. For those seeking even more comfort, the SP-R101-CF seatpost, available starting from the Addict RC 10, increases comfort by an additional 30% compared to the SL version.

This seatpost features a flexible rear cover that hides a magnetic system to integrate a Syncros rear light, ideal for rides at sunset or in low visibility conditions.

Top-level versatility

With a 34 mm tire clearance, the new Addict RC offers greater versatility, allowing you to mount wider tires to tackle more challenging roads or simply enjoy an even more comfortable riding experience.
